Are his feet supposed to fit flush against the wall? Both the metal and plastic rods are way too long for that to be possible. Other than cutting the rods shorter or drilling out the back of the holes in the wall, any ideas?

The answer to the first part is no. I like this fig but I'm having a hard time finding a place to display him. At eye level he's just a big red cape! Sideways reveals the pegs.

I have a spot on a semi-high shelf so he should look good. I can't figure out why they made the rods so long. Maybe is was to make it seem like he's in mid-leap.

I've got mine on an acylic base directly above my desk. It definitely needs to be elevated to look the best.
